Thank you for taking the time to explore the Electrical and Cyber Engineering programs at Gannon University. Electrical and Cyber Engineering offers numerous opportunities for advancement and expansion in one’s engineering career. Aside from
traditional engineering career paths, ECE degrees can serve as a steppingstone to a wide variety of interesting and rewarding career paths.
Supporting these ends, we offer two B.S. degree programs in Electrical Engineering and in Cyber
Engineering, and two M.S. degree programs in Electrical Engineering and in Embedded Software Engineering, all designed to guide our students to acquire technical competency, and effective communication and leadership skills. Our goal is to assure
a sound preparation for adaptation in exciting, rapidly-changing areas of technology and the passion for lifelong learning.
To achieve the goal, the ECE Department maintains a modern curriculum and state-of-the-art laboratories; our well-qualified
faculty strive to excel in educating our students in and outside of the classroom, adopting innovative teaching pedagogy and involving students in challenging and exciting research; and our faculty also provide effective academic advising to help
students graduate properly and timely. Our BSEE program is accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET. We offer small classes and a friendly environment facilitating close interaction
between faculty and students to encourage effective learning and to get most out of students’ investment in college education. We welcome and thank you for your interest, and hope you will find that Gannon is the right place for you.
